Containers are not available, ships are full, ports are overflowing and rail lines are in gridlock.  Ports are so full that ships are having to wait at anchor tying up more capacity and further making a bad situation worse.  We are seeing shipments that used to take 3 weeks to arrive now take 3-4 months IF we can get onto a ship. And shipping prices, rates are crazy with ocean freight going up 3x to 10x this year.

So what does this mean to you, our columbarium customer.  First off, know that we are working on this every day (and often into the night) to get your shipment moving.  If you have current orders with us, we are working on them and they are moving, albeit much slower and at much higher costs to us than we have ever seen.  As shipping companies are not allowing containers to ship via rail or to inland destinations in the US right now, we are bringing all shipments into our Centralia, WA yard.  Here we sort and unload the shipments and arrange delivery to you on a flatbed truck.  We are doing everything we can to get you your orders as fast as possible.

If you are thinking about a new columbarium or a new project you will see that the quoted freight rates are much higher than in the past and lead times are out to 6 months plus.  What I recommend doing is working with us to design and develop your project and hold off ordering until later winter or early spring when the situation has hopefully cooled down a bit.  As always, our goal at Premier Columbaria is to provide you with the best value cremation memorial solutions and at this time it is challenging.
